Anyone ever here this one? "Since 1960, stocks have started heading highly roughly 10 months before an upturn on corporate profits", says Christine Calles, Merrill Lynch...

That seems awfully early.....comments?

lol! That's a Great tune...

for 2 bucks that mic sounds pretty good. Superstition was the very first vinyl I ever bought as a kid... a 45 single from Two Guys Dept Store.

I must have over 5000 LP's and 4-5 hundered cd's now easy, thanks to Stevie<gg>

Random screwy question: If technology company X, who has a life of 40 years, never pays a single dividend during the history of the company (because they believe they must constantly reinvest what cash they have in the business...inventing new products, buying back stock <G>, whatever)....until they screw up one day, and go out of business....

Was that company ever really worth anything? (other than book value at any given time?)..

Are most technology companies ever going to pay a dividend? At some point, they'll likely mal-invest their cash until there's nothing left...no?

Therefore, maybe most technology share prices have much, much further to go....

(Sorry if this question seems too basic, or has been asked before.... really just occured to me)

Man do you ever sound like an FM dj from the 70's Allan. Stevie sounds a little like Freddie Mercury on that track. I like is socially conscious stuff form back then, "Black Man" etc...

I can forgive him for the fluff he's put out in the last 20 years.
