I know what it is like from afar. My youngest son got hit in the face and i picked him up from school a bloodied mess. I ended up in an argument with the school who was afraid to do very much due to the childs father being part of hells angels. I requested expulsion which finally came but in a very round about way.

I felt the impact i was teaching my son to handle with words and he was being exposed to a world of fists.

Becuase he was too cocky it happened again this time due to his friend who had already figured out diplomacy and that meant smart was to retreat versus start a war. His friend was huge compared to him at the time and my son turned around and attempted to pop someone in the nose for trying to pop his friend in the nose.

At boy scouts we were teaching the back off theory and we had kids from the project in our troop. You are talking street smart and i am talking smart to stay off the streets.

I know where you are coming from just don't think it works well long term. You can bully the hell out of those that work for you in business but they won't be working with you.

Hi abner Hosmer; Re: " Your inability to comprehend what I said just shows once again that like most women you haven't a clue what men experience. You have no conception of the world we grow up in."

Women deliberately blind themselves to what kind of world men really live in. The best statement of this that immediately comes to mind is Conrad's "Heart of Darkness".

Re: "Universal male experience is that you are ruthlessly and relentlessly tested for weakness."

This is true, and it is a very good thing.

When a 7 year old asks you about what sex is, you don't even bother answering. When a child asks you if you will wake them when nature calls, you have to tell them that that will take care of itself. You are wasting your time if you ask most about the symbolism in "High Noon". What there is in art often falls on blind eyes and deaf ears.
