4/10/2001 article on Crucial DDR running 300Mhz.

gamepc.com

On the other hand, what can I say about the Crucial other than "This stuff rocks". Every stick of Crucial we've had in our labs has been able to run at 300 MHz and beyond with the fastest memory timings. While we were surprised to see the PC-1600 memory run at this speed, we were especially surprised to see the ECC/Registered module run so fast as well.

DDR is scaling well.

Don't think so... no signs of PowerNow!

Mobile Pentium III Processor 1 GHz(1)+ Mobile AMD Duron(TM) 800
Intel SpeedStep(2) technology MHz(1) processor

Specifications are approximate and subject to change without notice.

(1)GHz and MHz denote microprocessor internal clock speeds. Other factors may affect application performance.
(2)The processor may be reduced to lower operating speed when operating on battery power

Charles that looks like Mobile Duron not Morgan. No mention of PowerNOW.

Also the price difference is HUGE!

PCG-FX290: $3,399.99(5)

I know what I would buy for the company.

PCG-FX210: $1549.99(5)
