The market is not looking at how bad it is now, it looking to the end of the year, nine months out. Every little hint we get of it not being as bad as you see it to be, will only add to the bullishness. If we so happen to go through earning season without smashing right back down, the bearish case will be overwhelmed. Those that do not see it will be left behind, sweating bullets, worrying about getting in, missing out on a time that is truly the easiest of times to be long. b Greg what you are missing is that there is no rally!. Now I do not care what it looks like but it is the same damn thing from a month ago when I got into it (in a friendly way with Hank). They are gapping this shit up right to max pain, CSCO at 17.5, CIEN at 50, MMM at 110, IBM at 100, and I could go on ad-nauseum. This is not buying, this is blatant fraud and I said the same thing last month and no one listened. They will pin stuff here while they are unloading or they will just cover and go short. Personally I think there should be a law about this but I am not sure what it would be. Perhaps not letting an institution jam up prices premarket when they have 5% more interest in a company, or perhaps there should not be a pre-market at all. This is just blatant BS and more on the S side. Does this really look like a normal market to you. SONS has horseshit earnings, rallies AH +2 then sells off AH -1 then gaps up 25% at the open the next day on horseshit earnings, then sells off and finished down after the institutions unload. Is this what constitutes a rally to you. Look at RIMM... gaps up over a few days to 28, sells off to 22 while the institutions unload, then on horseshit earnings rallies AH back to 28. Why is this even legal? I saw this coming mind you. (Sorry BIA). I sold my puts right before the close, thankful to get out even. I will get back in them tomorow, hopefully close to 28. Is this healthy? Is this a rally? Is CHKP really a good buy? Are there any good buys. Check max pain and watch the action. There are a few anomolies like QCOM but it is also possible the MMs are already covered fearing the worst about China. Please give me a break. The market is not overlooking bad earnings. The MM's are trying to prevent puts from finishing in the money. No more no less. Down again we go after expiry. BOOK IT!!!! It may or may not be a lower low but it will go so far then we will rally next options expiry just like this, to a lower high because max pain will be lower at that time. CANT YOU SEE THIS? Wratcheting down almost every month. Then a rally and everyone thinks the bottom is in. Phooey. M
