Due to holiday, April 15 was extended to April 18, 2001 by IRS.

The market was further boosted by the FEDs' rate cut even though unscheduled. Long term market recovery is still unknown. But several aspects bear watching.

New products and services(convergence technology of wireless, digital TV and camcorder) coming to the market? Cheaper cost of money and subsequently inventory rebuilding? Lastly, the monetary policy of expanding 5% more credit will be put in place.

Rates will return to 5% in the long run to hold steady and avoiding the over heating of our economy, probably after 6 months time. One can easily learn how to make money at a steady 5% rate to have a steadily growing new economy.
