BTE Baytex. Anyone following some of the recent trading? Stock situation is arguably ugly given the hefty debt and 70%'ish+ weighting to heavy oil but volume traded over the past month makes me wonder & I do hold a few shares as a result. There appear to be about 52.2mil. shares o/s and supposedly public float consists of about 41.5mil Quick glance indicates that just under 17.7mil. shares have traded since Oct. 9 which translates into just under 43% of the public float. I haven't run accumulation by house numbers but did notice that House 74 Griffiths McBurney & Partners seemed to be moving some significant sized blocks especially on Thursday and Friday. Possible m&a in process or just reaction by some larger accounts to the cratering oil price? Volume sometimes (usually?) tells the tale..... time will tell.
