In general it is a wise idea to be sure, which software you install. I once saw an MSDN version of Windows NT Server installed so that it became member of a domain. Suddenly, the number of concurrent users on a neighboring NT Server was limited very low, I think it was 25 concurrent users. When the MSDN server was shut down, the rest of the servers worked again.
