Our Loquat tree finally produced fruit this year. The fruit skin is a bland yellow color but the meat is almost a transcluent. The taste is like a plum but a bit more tart. Now I need to find something to use these in other than just plain. Something that won't over power the light flavor.

Anyone out there have these trees and used the fruit in something before?

I was surprised by how many ethnic groceries we have. Then again with two universities and Mitsubishi Motors here we are no longer a white bread community. State Farm also has many ethnic employees, many here for a year or two.
