These gaps are representative of the 1996 price for a 35 b$ annual rev and 15 b $ of R&D thrown into it free for 97,98,99, 2000..expensed as operating cost. This what most of these charts don't tell yu, rumors of MOT bankruptcy on Friday, LU bankruptcy INTC pre-annoucments all these were priced in the market as a recesison that has seen no precedent. The issue is not hte immeidate direction it is are you going to short a sotck that has book vlaue of 9 and trading at 12$ with huge R&D budget, most of these companies are going to be taken over in no time at thee prices.. The economy is not dead, thati s point OJ, you missed it completely. As for you it is a day business, we look at it much longer term and have much more comfort to own them and average them..We have to do it htis way..
