My original point was that a buyer of DELL at the beginning of Y2K probably would never realize a fair return on that investment, that's why I used $50.

At a purchase price of $27, I think that it is possible that buyers of DELL might get a fair return, i.e. 10% a year. It isn't a done deal, for sure, but it certainly is very possible.
