Weird movement on the NYSE again today.

Hi Cush, Think it was the ECB following Granny Greenie and not lowering European rates to "prevent inflation".

They've got some Phillips curvers over on the other side of the pond too <g>.

I was pleased with market's under-reaction - bodes well for the near-term imo.

Rob

Wasn't me who posted the percentage growth stuff, good info though.

The SOX upgrade today is driving the Nasdaq. I just posted to Allan that the lack of confirmation in the DOW tells me we are going to begin some sort of pullback now.

I putted the SOX and the Biotechs again. Bios have gone red but the SOX is bouncy. Its up 27% in a week. Acid market. Also looking at EBAY, sorry Pete.

I don't know how much we pullback (if at all) but I "had" to short at this level.

I still think the trend is up/sideways for a couple of weeks though. I think there will be opportunities on both sides.

Are you taking anything off the table today?

Cush:

Peter and I have talked about this indicator a lot, although I'm still a little old school using mostly patterns, price, volume and MA's. We have been a little timid in asking you to include it as you would have to change the thread header to 3 out of 4 ain't bad, but we could just start using it more without the change.

I see Shack is back on this thread today and after Shaw and you were so exuberant yesterday, I just had to go read his and a few other posts on the CFZ to gain some perspective and now damn he's done a flip flop <GGG>. Just short term I suspect. Still think in the long run the Dow and S&P will have to come and meet the Naz, and here's hoping for you techies that the the meeting will take place in the middle rather than have them fall all the way down to meet it. All in MHO of course.

Regards

Bob
