Scumbria, I just stumbled on this interesting post from SI's former chief of police that I thought you might want to correlate with historical posts here. Just for entertainment, of course. One thing I did learn during my time here, though, is that when a group of people spend a lot of time talking about a huge short conspiracy, and how the shorts will get reamed in a major squeeze, it just doesn't happen. I've seen the talk many times, and there was never a single instance in which I saw the squeeze really materialize. And that I was seeing that kind of activity is the reason I never looked back after my exit. Message 15647539 There was one real squeeze play with RMBS, it's hard to see how Intel can generate another one at this point though.
