Cash does mean something! As long as they still have it, it reflects in part the value of the
company not counting the potential.

As for resource companies, they are mostly POS, but give me one with cash in the bank over any
with no money. Financing is the toughest hurdle for a mining company.

This may not be the bottom yet (a sucker rally) but it is a reflection of market sentiment at this time which shows signs of optimism. The next two weeks will have literally hundreds of companies reporting earnings, some may be nasty surprises but how will the market react? Are these earnings already discounted in the price of the stock.
