I've been nibling in the tech wreck the past two weeks and its been like bailing water from a sinking ship. In two days I've made up all my losses and then some in the tech wreck. I"ve got two semi networking stocks in VTSS and AMCC that are up 50% in two or three days on nothing but 90% bad news. Sonus Networks did report some good news. I don't see the Nasdaq going thru 2000 unless we get some good news and I don't see any good news. Sold 90% of my techwreck. Went to a few computer stores yesterday and stuff is cheap and the stores are loaded. Went in Compusa twice and I don't think I saw more than 3 other shoppers in the store. The Mall was empty too. Maybe the end of the summer things will pickup for the new school year. Holding SLB,RIG and CAM that I picked up on recent dips. Let half of SLB go around 60 ish.
