it's quite a bit different ... how long have gold stocks & gold been out of favor ... there is real disillusionment with them, signs of disbelief that accompany a real bottom -- every pop is met by selling, but only marginally lower lows -- you just can't say the same about the bear in tech -- it is young by any standard

if he wants his clients to actively trade -- he has probably set them up OK -- but if they don't bail soon, they'll be sorry, IMO
