That is my point. I would not want to take a bet on this PERFECT result (for the Chinese) happening again. I can see how both planes could go down, just one, or neither. However to cripple our plane JUST ENOUGH to prevent it from returning to it's base, but not enough to bring it down immediately "isn't probable but possible". (We all know it is possible because it happened).

I think this hot-dog pilot went way too far in his intimidation tactics, that is all. But Im sure the Chinese are glad of this outcome.

No I do not fly planes, but I have worked on surveillance equipment that goes in to these types of planes. The company I work for modified one aircraft so much that the original manufacturer would not assure us it would even hold together. It is fun work, but I will not fly an airplane. I do not like heights!
