The recent change in market direction seems to have caused shell-shock in some quarters and cautionary optimism in others.

It would seem the longs decline to speak for fear of celebrating prematurely the recent upsurge and the bears have developed lockjaw fearing their best days may be behind them.

Time will tell which emotion is correct.

I agree with replacing Alan with a PC. But do not agree with buying CSCO at 16. It's as irrational as Alan.

Thank you! I completely agree. It's impossible to time with absolute certainty. So we do the best we can. I just hope this isn't another headfake. I still suspect Cisco will go down again after they announce the one time charges, etc. Hopefully, that will signal the bottom's in.
