Motorola (MOT) 12.98 -0.02: -- Update -- First Union notes that on the MOT conference call, management confirmed that China Unicom has tendered an offer for a CDMA network infrastructure to support 13-14 mln subscribers by the end of 2002; First Union believes that this could represent $0.15 -0.20 in annualized EPS vs its estimate of $0.03 for this contract. MOT also confirmed that some unidentified Latin America TDMA carriers have opted for CDMA2000; could also represent upside potential for QCOM.
