I either never kid or I always kid. There was a time when a rape victim not being, in essense, on trial herself (unlike victims of other crimes) was an issue. Isn't that an equal right?

That is a crime of violence.

There was a time it was time when a wife was property so a man could do as he pleased. Hence, addressing her RIGHT not to beaten had to do with equal rights.

So, no, I'm not kidding.

How often do you hear it said about a robbery victim that "we have to look at their role in this"? Yet just the other night on a news show they discussed a particular date-rape-drug case and spent a good deal of time discussing the "complicity" of the victims because they went on a date with the boys.

that notion is still not fully addressed or dealt with.

so, again, I am not kidding.

but feminism is term simply to deride now. I don't use it. Neither would I deny it.
