Hi Kenneth - very hard to tell for sure, but it looks that way.

I would caution before too much glee that the dow failed to confirm, and majority of "rallies" have been essentially gaps at the open.

One heck of a wedgie applied to a lot of newbie bears I bet...

I'm still out. Too much dust in the air. Good luck to those who have more guts than me! Long or short!

John.

Kenneth

It would seem that a slight pullback is now underway as we speak.

How deep and does it continue, who knows?

At this juncture the market appears to be taking a blasé attitude towards bad news.

Wall Street is indeed a classic example of the term “quirky”

Ed

>>>>Looks like those who were waiting to buy Cisco at 12 and Nortel at 10 will not get a chance to do so.<<<<

From one of those old dumb books that don't apply to the new era we live in. -vbg-

I recalled old Partridge's favourite remark -- "Well, this is a bull market, you know" -- as though that were tip enough for anybody who was wise enough; as in truth it was. It was very curious how, after suffering tremendous losses from a break of fifteen or twenty points, people who were still hanging on, welcomed a three-point rally and were certain the bottom had been reached and complete recovery begun.

They will have plenty of chances this Summer. Unless you are a s/t trader, there is no rush.
