The only thing I looked for was for Bush to say what the Chinese wanted to hear, and get the troops back home.

Then the real action begins. Having those hostages gave China too much of an advantage.

Gao, I see Scumbria has a short memory about what he wanted Bush to say. That is why I generally don't engage with him. Looks like Bush was a better negotiator than Scumbria because he gave up less than Scumbria was willing to give. He essentially gave up nothing for that matter.
