I have a friend who works in the industry (I know that and a dime might get you a cup of coffee)...he told me a couple years ago when both LU & CSCO were high-fliers that LU didn't have a clue what they were doing and would likely be destroyed....He has continued to love the long-term growth/business/product prospects for CSCO and he has been loading up under $20 (of course he held plenty of shares during the drop as well)....Your valuation/float/etc concerns are valid and I certainly wouldn't bet the entire farm on CSCO, but my point is CSCO ain't no LU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CSCO has extremely bright growth prospects, IMO....you obviously can't continue to double each year forever with no slowdown in growth rate....the bulls were too bullish a year ago.....
Here recently, I think the bears have been too bearish.....

If I could only pick CSCO or CPQ to hold for 5-10 year timeframe, the obvious choice would be CSCO in my opinion.
