Point in case - have you ever been made to feel unwelcome on g&k? We have lots of disagreements over there. Some have called RMBS/JDSU/INTC/WIND/MSFT/ETC. a Gorilla and others have contested that they are junk. The most interesting intervention of all, actually, was the one by LG here back in September. Why was it so interesting? For three reasons: he was dead on in calling a top and warning everybody to be careful; he was extremely polite and even humble in offering his views; and despite his bearishness he was received with equal respect and courtesy. In fact, he was even invited to come here in the first place by Uncle Clown: Message 14417251 Message 14417553 Message 14447040 Message 14448255 The whole episode represented SI at its best, IMHO, and I only wish I had heeded the warning better. tekboy@pagliacci.com

By definition, people who speak outside the Groupthink are "being contentious and disruptive". And you are entirely correct, I am trying to disrupt the Groupthink. First of all, your definition of groupthink is pretty simplistic. Secondly, it's not true that anyone who speaks "outside the Groupthink" is "being contentious and disruptive". As a matter of fact, YOU are contentious, provocative, and disruptive. I have seen others on this thread challenge NTAP in terms of EMC and other storage competitors in a RESPECTFUL and GRACIOUS WAY, and they have been treated in kind. You have been accorded the reaction that you've received NOT because of the content of your posts but because of your arrogant and condescending style. Try posting in a reasonable and respectful way, and your particular idea of Groupthink will dissolve faster than my NTAP has. Dr.Id@notthatitwillhelp.com
