a single ratio I can fathom but, that is a ratio of a ratio, right? (advancing issues/declining issues) divided by (volume of advancing issues/volume of declining issues) How does the latest signal break down into those -- how abotu the individual ratios are they followed as indicators, too?

long term, do you subscribe to the Kondr... (you know that Russian guy) who believe up or down phase last 25 to 50 years ? that this secular bear market could last till 2020 or so? Seem like most market bears are projected the end of the bear market in 2002 or 2003 latest.
