I'll plan accordingly

Your plan for LRCX sounds just fine. I usually write out a plan a few days in advance. My plan was to buy LRCX below 22. (Last buy was a few days ago at 20.25) wait for the earnings report instead of just shooting from the hip.
Sell on Friday about 11:30 AM on Friday (Unless there is a 3 point pop on the open which would be a sell signal).Try to sell prior to the usual Friday sell off. (anything above 27 I'll take). Re-buy on Monday below 25, and wait for INTC earnings to give the market another short term pop.

Having listened to Bagley and other LRCX exec's on the conference call I decided not to invite any of them to my next block party. They sounded somewhat uptight and probably would not be comfortable nippin' a little bourbon from a paper bag covered flask, and hearing my neighbors complaining about the price of water and alfalfa.
