I recall from previous cycles that layoff announcements come somewhere near the bottom of the cycle for the stock prices.

I don't remember, though, exactly how close to the bottom the layoffs came last time. Could be a couple months difference, would need to find records of layoff dates for previous cycles to know for sure.

Today Lam announced a 20% layoff. Are there any other recent layoff announcements that anybody is aware of?
