I know lots of women who are deeply concerned about issues of importance to boys. Do they count as they will be future men? The women who are teachers that I know are very interested in boy behavior and in raising healthy boys. Many of the women I know have very different ideas about what is healthy- but they are all very interested.

And of course all teachers are interested in involving fathers. A note just went home at our school for all parents today (put out by female teachers) to alert parents to the fact that children do better in school when their father is involved in the school process- whether he takes an active role in the homework, or volunteers, or whatever. SO there is a data point just from today about how important fathers are and how interested women (teacher women) are in them and their behavior and interaction with their children in a positive way.
