SCMR is more likely acquired than Tellium as SCMR has end-to-end mesh optical equipments.
SN12K is an awesome product with great scalability. With CSCO's world-class sales force, optical mesh NW will take off. I believe SCMR products were under-marketed and so advanced well before market was properly developed. With CSCO's sales and mkting muscle, this will change radically.

The fact that SCMR cleaned its house roughly at the same time as CSCO jettisoned its Monterey division all pointed to this strategic direction.

People don't fully understand the personal animosity that exists between the SCMR and CSCO management teams. CSCO/SCMR is the most unlikely of the scenarios, IMO.
