I won't go so far as to say it's impossible, but I wouldn't even remotely suspect that happening. That's all taken care of via code and nobody's got the cajones to make manual changes to the database and a change like you're hinting at wouldn't benefit them.

If I remember correctly, David Stockwell once made the claim that it was possible to rig the hot list rankings.

Who knows? Maybe David can shed some light on this - or tell me I'm all wet ( quite possible since it's raining here. )
