CSCO isn't ahead of CPQ today. CPQ earnings per share are still better then CSCOs. CPQ also needs to earn less on greater sales then CSCO to continue doing so. A simple mathematical function of having 24% of CSCOs shares and greater sales. It has nothing to do with which is the better company. It has to do with simple math. I figure one compaq share is roughly worth about three CSCO shares. Maybe more. I did the math on the fly so you may want to check it. Think about this. CSCO's best Q is $0.12. CPQ should make $0.15 this Q and business is not good.
