PALO ALTO, Calif. (Reuters) - Internet media giant Yahoo! Inc. announced on Wednesday that it was making its first layoffs ever -- cutting its staff of 3,510 people by 12 percent after reporting a net loss for its first quarter and a sharp drop in operating profit.

But one business that Yahoo is expanding deeper into is pornography. The company confirmed on Wednesday that it was offering a wider range of adult books and videos though various retail partners, despite the controversy

Not P4 or Athlon.

There is some rejoicing in AMD land that eMachines is offering an 800MHZ Duron machine (they've been 100% Intel recently). Personally, I'm not convinced that landing an eMachines sku is a particularly good sign.
