Dear Pat: The Republicans will do fine if the economy improves by next election. The census appears to favor them a great deal. As to the "China thing" I dont know any other way to have handled it. If we "got tough" we probably would merely have been biting off our nose to spite our face. Being a stubborn Ex Marine myself it was hard to accept "apologizing" for their pilots mistake and all but I suppose reason won out over emotion. JDN

Dear patricia, >>>>They also need to figure out if the word "apology" and "sorry" are the same thing.

I guess the problem with the vacant liberal mind set is the confusion of what the meaning of is is. The current democrat greatest president that ever was seemed to bring this confusion about by his sorry excuse for telling the truth. (the above is still a standing assertion of the last leader of the democrat party and remains in force. ain't that Rich )

Ah but what a brilliant strategy to get all focused on a sorry issue while the President calmly sells his plans and programs to the American People who have a lot of common sense. Let all the fools and talking head whine and show the American people what a sorry excuse they are.

Never let them see you coming. Ah, what a brilliant President we have.

dictionary.com

Our current president is literally brilliant and figuratively my super hero of Honesty, Decency, Compassion.

For all those who are to stupid to use a dictionary and wish to make a sorry argument that any words spoken by President Bushes Administraion is An acknowledgment intended as an atonement for some improper or injurious remark or act
an admission to another of a wrong or discourtesy done him,

All on can say is, stupidity or democrats or vacant liberal minds are all for one and one for all and always with us.
