This notion is informed by what I count as a finished correction off the low and the nature of this rally off the lows. I am less comfortable when I look at TA issues such as support/resistance, where I see, for instance, the smelly one above 520, but, I think that'll be a false breakout. Futures are up pretty big just now with GE looking OK. We'll know if I am off on the wrong foot within 30 minutes of the open imo. I do not think we need an ugly capitulation day or two as many are calling for. I would be looking for fresh extremes though in sentiment and p/c's. If we get this new downleg here with the fresh lows, then I'll want calls.
