Isn't this a positive development considering all the troubles in GPRS handset land(technical problems). Why wasn't this highlighted by the media? Is there a darkside to these figures(like customer acceptance)?

The numbers are higher than I thought they would be. Like you said, the media really hasnt given much data on customer experiences. I wonder how many of the 180,000 has actually been sold to customers. At least these handsets arent having catastrophic problems since we havent heard of a recall. Hopefully, MOT has worked out some of the problems associated with GPRS....it would really revive a pretty big portion of tech-land if GPRS sales were to take off during the second-half of this year.
