OTOT

Hi Tony,

Someone on the Qualcomm thread reported that LSI plans to close its Colorado Spring plant.

Would you by any chance know they made out there? Any CDMA chipsets for wireless applications?

Thanks in advance,
Ibexx

Tony - Re: "Compaq said their average selling price for the iPaq was higher than their average desktop."

That doesn't sound right.

iPAQs go for about $500 (color) and Compaq's desktops better sell for a lot more than that - or Compaq is in deep trouble.

Tony and All,
** OFF TOPIC **
This is a long week-end coming up and we don't want to talk about something like sports do we? So let me get you thinking about a most disturbing show I saw:

msnbc.com
He was born a boy named Bruce. Because of a surgical accident as a newborn, his family was forced to make a dramatic decision, and he was raised as a girl named Brenda. Now he talks to "Dateline NBC" as a man named David.

Comments by Humble One: Twin boys were born. They were both circumcised, and in the process of this operation one of the boys lost (or had) his penis severely mangled. The parents were very distraught and sought help; this quack doctor talked them into raising the twins as a boy and a girl, so the boy with the butchered penis was castrated.

The tragedy bestowed upon the poor mistreated boy makes me sick. This show was aired at midnight in San Diego, and I don't think I slept that night.

Did anybody see the program?...humble carl
