What kind of rodent is a "Greek Conseil d'etat"?

Does Turkey have any interest in some surplus tactical nukes when the US pulls out of Germany?

"TVX Gold Inc. - Greek Update
TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 12, 2001--TVX Gold (NYSE:TVX - news; TSE:TVX. - news) has become aware of articles circulating through the Greek press regarding a ruling from the Greek Conseil d'Etat adverse to TVX.

The Company would stress that these are rumors only as there has been no official decision released from the Conseil d'Etat and, after contacting Greek counsel, no judgment is expected to be rendered until the end of the second quarter.

On January 12, 2001, the Conseil d'Etat heard challenges against the Greek government relating to certain permits for the development of the Company's Olympias project. These challenges relate to the development of the Olympias project only and in no way impact the Company's ownership of its Greek assets including the Stratoni operations. ..."

Heinz, and all interested in TVX ....... SORRY but ....... the reserves now do not even cover the Gold convertible notes. Conversion of those notes will give all present shareholders a 10% stake in the company so you own starting when ever they convert 1/10 of what you previously owned.

A DOT.COM type of haircut. The geeks in TVX management should have had a better grasp when dealing in Greece were people are in love with gold. Forget the cyanide and arsenic is all about bribing the locals that's all.......... and those guys made a major mistake .................. now the locals will excavate and leach out the gold.

It is that simple ......... let the Yankees do the work and we the locals will reap the profits -------- what a steal just CLASSIC. Onnasis did not get rich just from hard work ........... he got reach by other means ......... like those locals may be able to do it.

Sorry all but those are realities of life.
