I agree with you on the results of confiscation - the danger is that in CA it could happen, via one of their propositions. I guess that since they can't stick it to their legislators, they'll try to stick it to the power generators. BTW, it also hasn't occurred to these folks that if they did form a "cartel", and said we won't pay any more than X amount, the energy suppliers don't have to sell to them at all. There will be plenty of competition for natgas and electricity throughout the entire country this summer. Oops, there's that nasty word, competition, again.
