Thanks for a good laugh Bruce. These analysts have WAY too much time on their hands. :o)

Remember our astute 'friend' analyst from Needham who initiated JNPR on March 7 with a hold and a target price of $43 when the stock was much higher? Well, as we know, he raised the stock to a strong buy from a hold on April 5th lowering his price target to $39. Guess what? He downgraded it from strong buy to a buy yesterday. That's got to be a record - three calls in 5 weeks time.

I think an award should be given out each year for the analyst who makes the most frenetic forecasts. We could call it the “Ants in the Pants” award. (Either that or the “Attention Deficit Disorder” award.)

CIBC raised the rating this AM on JNPR from buy to strong buy. They downgraded JNPR on January 10th from strong buy to buy after initiating it with a strong buy in March of 2000.

Just so I’m clear, now that the CIBC analyst has upgraded JNPR to a strong buy, does this mean that when purchasing the stock, I should press the “enter” key on my computer with vigor and wild abandon? I want to make sure I’m doing it right.

And here's the fourth. Perhaps a weekly event?
