re: "We will sell no wine before its time."

Wasn't that Robert Mondavi? :o)

JimP, post 3268 was well worded. Not sure everybody is fully aware that there are two arguments: inventory and capacity. Inventory will get worked off, but there will still be a lot of excess capacity.

you said:

This is a slow climb and many of the wounded will be inclined to sell quickly, but Orson Welles comes to mind: "We will sell no wine before its time." I think the correct time to start selling is 2250~2300, but that's just a bunch of free advice with my personal money back guaran-damn-tee attached.

The 50dMA for the COMP is at around 2080 presently. On the way down, the average hugged the 50 dMA several times. It corrected up for a period of 5-10 days and either stopped sligtly below, at or slightly above. This gives me lots of wiggle room.

Kb: Is it time to crow, yet?

Naz closed right near the Bay of Pigs era.

My small-time QQQ spread (write '03 puts, buy '03 calls, nominal net cost) has, at least temporarily, a 10,000% gain.
