Tom--I came to the same conclusion.
I scarfed up a few myself. Seem pretty reasonable all in all.
I personally view this as more of the same of what we have been seeing, a run up then a spot of the ole bad news to hammer the market down some more. It is the new 'paradigm' just hold onto your bad shorts, they will come back to you.
A friend of mine even advocated going ahead and shorting some small float stocks. That was something to read. The two of us had dabbled in a few small float stocks like KTEL in our earlier days. Victims of the Inquisition were more mercifully and humanely treated.

Corvis (CORV) 8.17 +1.42 (+21%): -- Update -- CIBC analyst believes that there will be upside to Corvis numbers when the company reports on Apr 26; says BRW and WCG have been strong and Qwest (Q) has been surprisingly better than expected; CIBC had included Qwest in its Q3 estimates but believes some Qwest orders may be seen in the June qtr.
