One thing to note is that NIKU is currently in fiscal year 2002 with FY2001 having ended on Jan. 31, 2001. So, they're closer to this theoretical profit than it looks at first glance.

From First Call, it looks like the analysts are predicting that they will post their first profitable quarter during Q4 which ends on Jan. 31, 2002. I'm under the impression that the company is actually hoping to post a profit by Q3 of this year (pro-forma no doubt). If they can pull that off, we'll be in good shape on this one.
