Man I can almost feel the tears of joy streaming down your face as you talk about "shorts getting crushed" and the "rally may be sustained for months." Hate to tell you this, but the market ALWAYS rallies at earnings time, ALWAYS. Like clockwork. Guess what happens when earnings season ends.. I always cover my shorts before earnings and then re-set the shorts near the end of earnings season..and I'll be re-setting next week, that's for sure. I just have to wonder how many times "bulls" can get suckered into a bear market rally before they realize that we aren't just going to magically reverse and head higher for months. We've got a lot of rebuilding to do in this market, and it's not going to be fixed overnight.
