AUDC Earnings to be announced Thursday BEFORE THE OPEN and the Conference Call is at 10:00 am EST:

biz.yahoo.com

I look forward to listening and will report here.

AUDC management usually does quite well in their conference calls and perhaps they will discuss progress with customers in China and how the partnership with CLRN is going to produce more revenues, etc.

Five weeks will have transpired since their earnings preannouncement on March 14th. At the time, they said they would be able to discuss forthcoming quarters during the April earnings conference call.

I gather they were being conservative in their March 14th announcement because they didn't want to include some orders in the current quarter that were looking as if they might be canceled or postponed.

Let's hope some of the orders DID come in, or at least they have a better understanding of which delayed orders may actually come to fruition. Voice over Packet technology isn't going away.

At any rate, as has been the case with many other stocks in this environment, stocks have been staging relief rallies after earnings meet downgraded expectations.

And, in classic confirmation of market bottoms, when some stocks have been issuing bad news, they rally because the news people have been worried about has now been disclosed and investors begin to look beyond the news.

Watch CSCO tomorrow to see how it behaves. CSCO pre-announced worse earnings after the close today (Again!) and CSCO stock was just down to $15.87 from its close at $17.20. 13.9 Million shares traded which confirm that it wasn't a light after-hours session. It will be telling how CSCO shares handle this recent warning, but if the after-hours trading is any indication, the stock may actually rise above $15 tomorrow, indicating the market can stomach this kind of negativity and move on.
