RIMM is relying on interest income to help the bottom line...that is accounting trickery.

Company warned that lower interest rates would effect earnings due to lowered interest income.

Diluted EPS were .10/share, period. yes, they had Long Term Investment writedowns which would lead to your (.08) loss, but I hardly consider long term investment losses as operating earnings??

We all need to go through the learning curve.

LOL... you obviously don't know me. I didn't earn 5,000% over the last 2 years by going through "learning curves". I will admit that I was up 50,000% after 13 months, only to get hit hard as I mistimed the impending market fall by 3 weeks, but that's fine... I still do quite well. Up at least 50% today alone. LRCX, LTXX and GE Calls were good to me. AAPL & LTXX will be good for me next week as well.
