Hi Alex,

Your in with WT-t @$.71 for 14,084 shares.

Chart for Westfort Energy Limited(WT-t):

stockcharts.com[l,a]declnimy[pb50!c20!b100!b200][vc60][iUg!Ll14!La12,26,9!Lf!Lh14,3]

Looking at the chart we can see that after a period of consolidation that WT fell off the cliff last week on heavy volume. All the indicators are still negative even after Thursday's bottom bounce and slight price recovery at the close. The one indicator to take note of is the Slow Stochastics as the stock does appear to be a tad oversold.

Good luck with this pick,
Al

Westfort's contractor attempts to retrieve logging tool

Tue 17 Apr 2001
News Release

Mr. Whitney Pansano reports

After the entire suite of electric logs were run in the well, the drilling
contractor, Patterson Drilling Co., commenced procedures to retrieve the
logging tool in order to run and set the remaining segment of production
liner (casing). Difficulties were then encountered in retrieving the tool
which, at that time, were perceived as temporary and minor
complications/conditions that occur frequently, and which ordinarily could
have been overcome without significant delays. Patterson began procedures
to overcome the difficulties and pull the tool from the hole. In doing so,
Patterson encountered further problems which indicates a possibility that
the costs of continuing efforts to remove the tool may exceed the costs of
leaving the logging tool in the hole, setting a plug above the tool and
sidetracking the hole into the Norphlet to the total depth.
The viability and advisability of this option is being considered at this
time and will be announced upon a determination being made. If the decision
to sidetrack is made, it is anticipated that the time frame to reach total
depth in the sidetracked hole will be approximately two weeks from the time
of commencement of sidetrack operations.
