Definitely agree.I would like to reach 3, 5 baggers in 3 to 5 years Another alternative is to try to get a 2-3 bagger twice or more often in those 3-5 years. If outside of your IRA/401K, all the better. The more taxes you pay, the better Bush can afford his tax cuts. The hooker is if the 300mm build happens all in one up cycle. In that scenario, LTBH will trump all other stategies.understands the dynamics of bubble deflation as it applies to US technology markets No argument that there was an dotcom bubble without any basis whatsoever in sound Economics; a partial bubble was also fueled by Venture Capitalists in the Alternate Carrier market segment. However, I don't believe that the whole economy was a bubble; or the high tech subset is a bubble I further believe that the revolution that high tech is fostering through the intelligent convergence of computing and communications is not only real but also compelling. Businesses will continue to improve their productivity above trend through its use to eliminate middlemen and intermediate processes. Similar savings will be realized by consumers through more timely and effective access to information. If I'm wrong in these beliefs, then I hope that I can quickly develop a taste for catfood. :-(isn't it possible that the extremes of the last few years will result in a hiatus in growth and a severe technology recession? Of course it's possible. But is it Probable, or even, likely? How confident are you? Oh about 1/1000th as I was on Sept 1st, 2000.You have been more bullish than I for a while now I don't know about that. I haven't rounded up any of my Communications sector holding in several months. Rather I've been selling some biotech 5 baggers; and, covered calls against a portion of my positions - only one of which is currently in the money and is at risk of being called next Friday. I haven't written any new puts (other than a rollout and down) since last year. While I would like to believe that the sector will go up just because JJ said things can't get any worse; or Bagley hopes they'll turn up in the last part of the Calendar year, I doubt that that's the most likely scenario. The market has a habit of going up with the least number of people invested and going down after they've finished committing their funds. Enjoy your weekend, Ian.
