Message 3707459 WOW! I wouldn't have believed it! Kirk, rushing to daBrink's defense like a linebacker. Kirk where is the love for daBrink these days? How did you turn to the darkside so easily? :) Yup... I am not the only one. Several people used to take detailed notes of his show and then switched to the dark side after about 1 year. One of, Steve Thompson, used to do free summaries of the show on my site years ago.... I used to post links to them here... until it upset his stomach and he stopped. Now he does a weekly summary of Wall Street Week that is quite good. I remember I was more upset with Rillinois for disturbing the peace here... but he was correcting a bunch of BS and actually helped us if we listened. I STILL enjoy the show as he sometimes gives useful information. The last bit I remember was what are the characteristics of a bear market. I used this to track some individual stocks to buy and it helped my confidence is what to look for in a bottom. It worked well as I added to LRCX in Dec. at $15+ and sold it at $26 a few weeks later... I also learned some TA and am just getting better at this, but his show DOES offer some useful stuff WHEN HE TALKS ABOUT THE MARKET. I just wouldn't follow his investment advice, much less pay for it.. but people can do a whole lot worse... if they don't mind not getting clear answers to why he does what he does. Kirk out
