Hey Peter:

Just thought I would play around a little and changed that ADX to 13 days as per Elder's book. It didn't really change that much so I thought I would try 5 days. Check it out. +DI already moving down. Average Directional Indicator (ADX) above both +DI and -DI. Don't know whether this really means anything, but you would think that for short term traders you should use shorter term indicators.

stockcharts.com[w,a]dicayymy[dc][pc5!c21!c50!b30!h.02,.20!f][vc60][iut!Ul5!Lc20!La12,26,9!Lh14,3!Lb14]

According to Elder's rule 5. When ADX rallies above both Directional lines, it identifies an over-heated market. Well it has been showing overheated all the way down with the -DI on top indicating the bear. Now that the +DI has moved above -DI in this rally (or bear trap?) and briefly above the ADX and now turned down, I think you have every right to be afraid.

On another note Cush, I know that you techies follow the NAZ because of the volume and you trade a lot of cross-listed stocks, but how about us doing more analysis of the TSE in accordance with the thread header?

Regards

Bob
