even though Intel may reach $17, things dont quite work as linearly as your portray. With your logic, when AMDs EPS was -50c 2 years ago, their stock price should have been -50. was it ? The PE model is not applicable in all situations.

You (and few others on this thread) dont seem to realize that Intel and AMDs destiny are a lot closely tied with each other than against. Although, your action does suggest (by selling all your AMD shares), that you do believe that, if Intel drops after the earnings, so will AMD.
