i'd rather have unlimited symbols and suffer just a few performance problems every now and then. what do you want performance for if you can't watch what you want to watch? what Lycos should do, IMHO, is sell the Quote.com unit to an online broker with deep pockets such as ETrade. they have excess servers and capacity and money to burn for buying new ones. i've said it before, Quote.com doesn't belong in a portal. ___ <<If having to live with a reasonable symbol limit would correct the performance problems, I'd be willing to do it.>>
